The Propheteer

Well, it’s semi-official – My mother suggested (and Sabrina jumped on) the idea of a holiday open house, now that we’re mostly settled in our new place.
On the one hand, I’m pretty much on board with this. I think it’ll be fun, and I think we’ll be able to show off our place pretty well.
On the other hand, we’ve got a LOT of work to do. We still have a card table in our “dining room” area, for pete’s sake. (of course, that’s going to change tonight, but the speed with which that’s happened is entirely due to the decision to have this open house)

SO much work to do. I can only hope I’ll be able to pull this off.
I’m already screwing things up – I put up our curtain rod in the kitchen approx. 2 inches too high – and as difficult as it was to get the screws into the wall (they are NOT coming back out again….I nearly destroyed a screwdriver putting them IN) it’s not getting re-hung. So we have to play with the curtains. Fun.
